Venny’s Café

On the way up to Loon Lake yesterday, we were looking for a Breakfast spot in Florence. We went to one place & there was a line a mile long, we went up the street to 2 other spots, one was closed down & one had no parking. Well, this must have been divine intervention, because we ended up at Venny's Cafe 101. There were a few folks there already & as soon as we were seated, a bunch more folks came. Once we got our Breakfast, I could see why folks were coming in droves. I ordered the Machaca, it came with flour tortillas, rice & beans. This was the tastiest Breakfast I have had in years! The con salsa & pico was an added treat & the portions were huge! I made burritos out of what I had leftover, which I will eat today. Best Rice & Beans I have had anywhere. My dining partner had Biscuits, Gravy, Eggs & Patty Sausage, which he enjoyed thoroughly. The owners were super sweet, super attentive & absolutely wonderful. When I ordered the Machaca, she asked me if I knew what that was & that it had meat in it. She said a lot of folks think it's only veggies in the eggs. We assured her that I did know what Machaca was & that I was excited to try it. The flavor that was coming through from the Machaca to my tastebuds! Wow, so delicious & I felt like I was eating Breakfast way down South again, like when I was in Junior High & we used to travel across the border every weekend, to go to our favorite Taco stand. I cannot wait to go back to Venny's again. Oh & the coffee (I have to drink decaf) was rich & dreamy good. If Breakfast tasted like this, I can only imagine what Lunch & Dinner tastes like! I will go back to try both, that's for certain!

We'd heard the breakfast was great, so we gave it a try! We ended up have Mexican breaky instead of regular pancakes and eggs, etc. Definitely worth it, it was delicious!

as someone who lived in california for 4 years i’m picky when it comes to mexican! they did everything right. the salsa, the guacamole, and the enchiladas were all amazing. they were very attentive and i thought all of the pricing was a great deal.

The food is very fresh. Best Mexican food I've had in a long time. I had the breakfast relleno. Hats off to the chef. Food is done to perfection. We've been here several times and the high quality of the food has been consistent. Good price for the amount of food you get as well.Back again! Still delicious and fresh. Prices great and quality high. Great menu.

My wife and I stopped on for breakfast and had a delightful time. Our meals were top notch with fresh, quality ingredients and prompt service. We'll definitely be stopping by again on one of our next visits to Florence.

Our first time here and we are Thankful we stopped! Wow! Some of the BEST Mexican Food we have had on the Oregon Coast. Large portions and lots of flavor. Carmen was our server and she was very nice and tentative. Great service with a smile. Highly Recommended!

This is the best restaurant on the Oregon coast. It is a well kept secret. I have had breakfast and dinner here and every meal has been superb. They offer many Mexican breakfast options as well as full American style breakfast. Pancakes, eggs, bacon, toast, etc. served as well as chilaquiles, huevos rancheros, and meñudo. Dinner options are plentiful. The last time I ate there I had the Enchiladas Poblana with a sweet mole sauce and it was out of this world. The service here is top notch and the effort put forth in preparation is excellent. The combo meals are huge and can easily feed two people or more! Also the salsa is the BEST I have ever had at a Mexican restaurant. There actually is a bit of heat to it and the flavor is so fresh. They also abide by local COVID restrictions and encourage social distancing when seating customers. This is a must stop when traveling through Florence Oregon!

Fast, fresh, friendly. We were seated quickly, and immediately served drinks. They're running around quickly, seem quite efficient. It's a small space, but fits in 6 large booths and 5 tables in the middle. Probably seats 46 people. We ordered steak fajitas, camarones momina, and chips and salsa. Kind of salty, but was only 40! Great stop! Thanks Venmy!
